While it may be helpful, it is not necessary to have previous experience serving individuals with autism. Interested candidates should, however, already possess the work ethic and compassion required for this unique environment. Additionally, year-round outdoor and physical activity is an important part of Bittersweet’s philosophy and farmstead model. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and walk up to five miles.

Social Recreation Direct Support Professional (Part-Time)- Whitehouse, Ohio

Bittersweet Farms is seeking a motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support our Social Recreation Program (SRP). This role is ideal for individuals looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a flexible, low-hour monthly schedule.

This position averages 12 hours per month, including every SRP event and beginning in June will move to Day Time Summer camp hours.
