While it may be helpful, it is not necessary to have previous experience serving individuals with autism. Interested candidates should, however, already possess the work ethic and compassion required for this unique environment. Additionally, year-round outdoor and physical activity is an important part of Bittersweet’s philosophy and farmstead model. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and walk up to five miles.
