Letter From the Executive Director
Members and Friends of the Bittersweet Farms Community,
As I reflect on my role representing Bittersweet Farms, I am overwhelmed with deep appreciation and heartfelt happiness. It is my honor to share the remarkable progress we've made together through 2025. My excitement for what lies ahead in 2026 is limitless. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Board of Directors of both the Inc. and Foundation boards. Your steadfast support continues to uplift and guide our mission, and for that, I am deeply thankful.
I am continually inspired by our exceptional Director Team, whose incredible commitment and dedication empower everything we do. Their leadership, passion and allegiance to our vision sets the tone for success. To all Bittersweet Farms staff, THANK YOU for your unwavering support and your daily dedication to keeping it RHEAL and living out our Core Values with authenticity and care. You are truly the best, and Bittersweet Farms thrives because of you.
Throughout 2025, our achievements have been rooted in the power of connection and the strength of relationships. Progress at Bittersweet Farms is measured not just by numbers, but by the meaningful bonds we form and nurture within our community. These relationships are the foundation upon which every success is built. This year, Bittersweet Farms reached several key milestones that highlight our commitment to growth and innovation. We completed our three-year Strategic Plan and began developing and launching the next three-year Plan. 2025 Highlights include celebrating our QIDP, Rachel Crawfis, who was named OPRA QIDP of the Year for Ohio. We launched a Supported Employment Program, creating external job opportunities for over 20 individuals and building valuable community partnerships. Additionally, we organized a Senior Group to support our aging members with engaging programs that enrich their retirement experience. Each of these achievements demonstrates our ongoing dedication to creating a meaningful impact for those we serve.
Looking back on 2025, I do so with immense pride for all that we have accomplished together. Thank you, once again, to our board members, staff, donors, community partners, and all our supporters, you make everything we do possible. Together, we are building a legacy of connection, progress, and hope.
